Frequently Asked Questions.
How do I know who is the best and most reliable agent in town?
In addition to our own experience in dealing with agents nationwide, Templeton has access to various tools that monitor market share and show which agent is the most suited, not only based on location but also the type of property we are looking to sell/value. The agent with the most properties on the market isn’t necessarily selling the most and may not be the right one for every property.
What do I do if the valuations are entirely different?
We will sort it! This is not unusual if there are few comparable properties around and is where our specialist team comes in; in most cases, we will look for no more than a 10% variance between the valuations and, ideally, a lot less. We will thoroughly review each report, carefully examining the evidence provided by the agent or surveyor and then discuss any discrepancies in detail with each party to find the resolution.
